The Mata Air Bali Solar Water Purifier needs only sunshine and almost any kind of water, to produce pure, sweet drinking water. One unit can produce an average of 8 liters per day, depending on your climate and average hours of sunlight.

It can completely purify sea water, river water, rain water, or public water supply. But the cleaner the input water, the longer between cleanings. For larger families, simply add more purifiers in parallel. The only moving part is an automatic water-fill valve, (standard water closet fill valve -- user replaceable).

The Mata Air Bali Water Purifier is flat-black in color, with clear 5 mm glass on the top. And because it's simple in design and build, it is also fully serviceable by the owner. The glass area is 1 X 2 meters, made of standard door glass, available the world over.

The Mata Air Bali Water Purifier pre-filters and pre-out-gasses chemical contaminants, and settles heavy metals and isotopes, before the water enters the distillation chamber. The distillation chamber is completely isolated from the outside, when properly installed and filled with water.

The primary fill and settling chamber. The water level is controlled by a standard water closet valve. The water then flows through a simple filter into the secondary out-gassing chamber, before entering the tertiary evaporation chamber.

Warranty:
Mata Air Bali products are warranted to be free of defects at time of purchase. Each hand-built unit is designed to last for years with proper maintenance.

To keep the purchase price low, we do not extend warranty coverage toward breakage or wear on all parts, not limited to or including: water valve, pipe threads, screw threads, or screens.These are the responsibility of the owner or installer. These parts are widely available and our products are designed to be easily and cheaply serviceable on site.

In the event of frame breakage by the owner or installer, Mata Air Bali recommends the problem be repaired by the owner or installer on site, using super glue or epoxy, plus fiber glass if needed. Our products are not warranted for breakage caused by the owner, installer, or user. You are welcome to call or write if you need repair information, we will gladly assist you.

Installation Requirements:
1) Full, unobstructed sunshine, early morning through late afternoon, year-round.
2) Gravity or pressurized water source , at least 20 liters per day, average. If you are using ground or sea water, consider installing a water tank uphill from the purifier, to settle particulates and to pressurize the water supply to the purifier.
3) Flat and absolutely level surface, preferably a concrete roof near the kitchen. Minimal size: 126 cm/ 49.6 inches X 226 cm/ 89 inches. If the unit is to be located on a high area, we recommend adding at least 50cm walkway on each side to accommodate servicing.
4) Proximity and gravity feed to point of use. (Above and near the kitchen or water dispenser.)

Supplied with purchase:
1) Type and style of fittings on the unit, 1/2" threaded is standard.
2) Owner and Installation Manual.

Installation tools and parts owner/installer supplied:
1) Drinking water Output. We have provided a hose fitting and clamp, or a threaded brass fitting.
2) Water input fitting. 1/2" threaded, what is needed if you are connecting to the public water supply, or any pressurized water source.
