About Us

UD Mata Air Bali is a cooperative effort, with a highly-skilled staff of seven, plus occasional contractors. Most hail from western Java, Indonesia, working in Bali to support families back home. Mata Air Bali is for the staff a 'leap-of-faith,' a hope that their efforts will bring them prosperity.

Mata Air Bali operates under the premise that technology should and must be simple and appropriate. In many places throughout Indonesia, pure drinking water is difficult to obtain, resulting in unnecessary disease for many. The cooperative simply wants to provide a quality product, at the lowest cost, to benefit the peoples of their villages and beyond.
